KUMP DANCE COLLECTIVE
KUMP DANCE COLLECTIVE is a joint cooperative of dance artists that are committed towards making dances that deeply connect with the human heart and mind.
Directed by Jenna Del Monte, the work stems from the discovery of our understanding of human truth. We build work on our own stories. We build what we know, and we inquire about what we don't, both kinetically and contextually.
The discoveries are transformed into dance works and education practices. We strongly believe in dance education and sharing our findings with not only our audiences, but especially with the youth of the community.
Creativity, improvisation and individuality are celebrated in all aspects of rehearsal, dance education and performance. Each of KUMP DANCE COLLECTIVE dancers carry a unique array of physical and intellectual forte's, making each performance dynamic, rich and attainable.
Because of the eclectic mix of artists, the possibility for our audience to connect becomes a real one. We hope to speak directly to each of you.
